Two teenage boys have been charged with the murder of a 17-year-old who was stabbed to death in Canning Town on Valentine’s Day.
The two youths, both aged 17, are accused of the murder of Lord Promise Nkenda who was attacked on Goldwing Close on February 14.
Police are paramedics were called to the scene just after 8pm.
The victim, who was known as Promise and lived in North Woolwich, died at the scene from stab wounds to the chest.
The pair, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are also charged with robbery and will appear before Barkingside Magistrates’ Court this morning.
