A murder hunt is underway after a teenager was stabbed to death in Forest Gate last night.
Police and paramedics were called to Chestnut Avenue where they found the 18-year-old suffering from knife wounds at around 10.50pm.
He died at the scene just before 11.30pm.
Detectives are informing his next of kin.
There have been no arrests and police are urging any witnesses, or anyone with information that to call officers on 101 quoting CAD 8332/apr16 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
