Two men were seriously injured after a daylight brawl in North Woolwich reportedly involving weapons.
Witnesses called police after a group was seen fighting in Pier Road at the junction with Albert Walk, yards from the police station.
A 38-year-old man was discovered by officers at about 5.45pm on July 26, suffering from a head injury. Another man, 39, sustained a facial injury.
Both were taken by ambulance to an east London hospital for treatment, where their injuries were described as non-life threatening or life changing.
Officers later cordoned off the scene to carry out further investigation. A 16-year-old boy was later arrested in connection with the incident.
