A teenager has been arrested after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in Canning Town yesterday afternoon.
He also suffered facial injuries during the attack, which took place at the junction of Barking Road and Hermit Road at around 3.40pm.
He was taken to an east London hospital, but his injuries are not life threatening.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested in Plaistow in the early hours of this morning on suspicion of GBH.
