A Stratford man charged with murdering a teenager from Plaistow is set to face trial next year.
Allcie Houlder, 22, of Mantle Way, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court today to deny the murder of Nico Ramsay.
The 19-year-old aspiring grime artist died in hospital in February 2016, four days after being stabbed in the chest in Southend.
Houlder also denied a charge of possessing an offensive weapon.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at the same court for a hearing on January 3.
