Shopkeeper assaulted in Forest Gate robbery

A 68-year-old Forest Gate shop owner was assaulted before £50 was stolen from her till.
Police are keen to identify a man in connection with the incident, which took place in Reginald Road on Tuesday, May 26.
At around 5.05pm, a man went behind the counter and assaulted the woman, leaving her with minor injuries.
He is described as black, around 5ft 11ins and of heavy or muscular build.
Anyone with information or who can identify the man is asked to contact police in Newham on 101 quoting reference 5314730/15.
