A Stratford betting shop lost £7,500 during two knifepoint robberies less than a fortnight apart

Police are appealing for help in tracing the balaclava-clad man they believe to be responsible for the robberies at the Portway branch of Coral, which took place on November 24 and December 4 last year.

On both occasions, a member of staff was robbed at knifepoint while on their way to bank takings.

The man police would like to speak to is described as black and was wearing a black balaclava with grey vertical stitching, a black Nike jacket and black Nike trainers with white soles.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 020 8345 1400 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting crime reference 5334676/15
