Police have released this CCTV image today of a man wanted for questioning after a sex attack on a woman in a hotel in east London.

Detectives from the Met’s Sexual Offences Command want to speak to the man following “a serious sexual assault” reported to have happened at the Travelodge hotel at Park Lane in Stratford last March.

The woman alleges she was assaulted in a bathroom on March 27, 2014, between 1.30 and 4.45am after having been invited to a party at the hotel.

The man is described as Asian, in his mid 20s, about 5ft 7ins tall, average build with short, dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.
