Police have released dramatic CCTV footage of an attempted murder in Plaistow in which a father-of-two was shot by a rain of bullets outside his home.
A £20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to identification, arrest and prosecution of the person responsible for attempted murder, which happened last year.
Police believe more than a dozen bullets were fired from a semi-automatic weapon as Mr Hussain left his flat and was confronted by two hooded males.
The men had been lying in wait in a nearby car.
The attack left Haroon Hussain, the 32-year-old victim, with life-changing injuries. As a result of the attack he struggles to walk, suffers epileptic fits, has short-term memory loss and has lost movement in his right hand.

Detective Sergeant Nick Hamer said: “The use of semi-automatic weapons like this on the streets of London is still rare, but that makes it all the more important we recover this weapon and remove it from the streets.
