A group of 16 people will appear in court charged with supplying Class A drugs over the next three weeks following a series of police raids across Manor Park.

More than 100 officers were involved in arresting the suspects, aged between 17 and 50, in a dawn swoop on 18 homes on Wednesday, April 6.

The group have all stood before Thames Magistrates’ Court with 13 remanded in custody to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Thursday, May 5

Asher Bennett, 24, of Leighton Avenue, has been charged with six counts of supplying crack cocaine while Dominic Kuria, 20, of Landseer Avenue, was charged with five counts of supplying crack cocaine and heroin and being in possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

Both will stand before Snaresbrook Crown Court on May 5.

Carlton Hunte, 34, of Warrior Square, Paul Hart, 47, of Susan Lawrence House, in Walton Road, Marcus Moses-Cairns, 22, of Rixsen Road, and Kamil Osman, 19, of Bedford Road, Ilford, have all been charged with four counts of supplying crack cocaine.

All four will appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court alongside Bennet and Kuria.

Roger Cummings, 50, of Warrior Square, Eugene Barnett, 33, of Hathaway Crescent, and Christopher Sergeant, 22, of Rosebery Avenue, have all been charged with three counts of supplying crack cocaine and will also appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on May 5.

Dale Musa-Yayi, 26, of Alfred Prior House, in Grantham Road, has been charged with three counts of supplying cocaine, while Samuel Moses-Cairns, 22, of Rixsen Road, is charged with four counts of supplying the Class A drug.

Both will appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Thursday, 5 May alongside Anton McKenzie, 25, of Jack Cornwell Street – charged with two counts of crack cocaine.

Mohammed Hye, 22, of Third Avenue, was charged with four counts of supplying crack cocaine and being in possession of a quantity of Class A drugs with intent to supply and will appear alongside the other 12.

A 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at Stratford Youth Court on Monday, May 9, charged with five counts of supplying crack cocaine and being in possession of a large quantity of the Class A drug with intent to supply.

Kadeem Andrews, 20, of New Barn Street, Plaistow, was charged with two counts of supplying crack cocaine.

He appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday, where he was remanded in custody to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday, April 29.

Omar Wilson, 23, of Second Ave, Dagenham, was charged with four counts of supplying crack cocaine and appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
