Police hunt for man in connection to Westfield Stratford theft and assault

Police are trying to trace this man who is known to frequent the Newham and Stratford areas.
Police are appealing for help to trace a man in connection with the robbery of a £10,000 watch and an assault on a member of staff at a shop in Westfield shopping centre.
On Saturday, January 6, a man entered a store in the centre in Stratford and asked to try on a Breitling Super Avenger II watch - valued at more than £10,000.
The man then punched a sales assistant in the face and fled the store taking the watch with him.
The sales assistant, also male, did not suffer any lasting injuries.
Following an earlier police appeal, officers are appealing for assistance in tracing 32-year-old Aklakur Rahman in connection with the incident.
He is known to frequent the Newham and Stratford areas.

The public are advised not to approach Rahman. If you see him, call police.
