Police investigating the fatal stabbing of a 20-year-old in an East Ham park have charged a further two men.

Moosakhan Nasiri was found with stab wounds to his chest in Plashet Park on October 15.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, despite paramedics’ efforts to save his life.

A post-mortem exam found he had died from a stab wound to the heart.

Two men – a 22-year-old from Stratford and a 18-year-old from Plaistow – have appeared at court charged with Moosakhan’s murder.

The pair and a 16-year-old boy previously charged in connection to the killing will appear at the Old Bailey in January.

Another 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on October 18. He is currently on bail until a date at the end of the month.

Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses to come forward with information.

Det Chief Insp Jamie Piscopo, investigating officer, said: “Although we have now charged three people in relation to this murder, we believe there are still outstanding suspects and other lines of enquiry we are pursuing.

“It is absolutely vital that we speak to anyone who saw anything that day.

“This was a violent attack on a young man which happened in the middle of the afternoon in a busy park, and I would ask anyone who saw the incident to come forward and speak to us.”

Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call 020 8345 3715 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
