Newham police charge 29 with monitoring offences

Newham detectives have charged 29 people following an investigation into the monitoring of offenders.
Operation Glen Falls has been investigating the inappropriate use of offender monitoring equipment since October 2016.
The first arrests began in January 2017 and other interviews and arrests took place throughout the year.
All 29 were charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
The defendants were charged between Monday, November 13 and Wednesday, November 22.

All will appear at Thames Magistrates Court on either Wednesday, December 20 or Friday, December 22.
