Newham’s Most Wanted update: week of arrests, discoveries, and new suspects
Six of Newham’s most wanted have been located - thanks to the Recorder’s campaign with Newham police.
Six of Newham’s most wanted have been located - thanks to the Recorder’s campaign with Newham police.
Four of those have been arrested following the publication of 17 of the borough’s suspects and fugitives last week in which readers were urged to help track them down to make Newham’s streets safer.
In the past week,one has been arrested for several matters relating to theft and recalled to prison; another has also been arrested on several counts; a third has been arrested; and another handed himself into police after seeing his picture in the paper.
A further suspect is believed to be abroad while the family of another pictured was located after seeing the campaign and subsequently discovered that their family memmber is trying to turn their life around.

But the search is still on as Newham police have updated the list and listed another seven more people wanted for alleged offences, bringing our most wanted list up to 18.
