Residents will have the chance to question the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service tonight at a public meeting in Stratford.
Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe will take questions and speak about policing in London at the newly opened Chobham Academy School in Cheering Lane from 6.30 to 7.30.
Space is limited and will be on a first come first served basis.
There will also be parking available in the school car park off Temple Mills Lane.
Sir Bernard became Met Commissioner in September 2011 and was knighted earlier this year for services to policing.
