A major drugs bust carried out by the Metropolitan Police Service has resulted in eleven people being charged.

Zakaria Abdulkadir, 19, of Chesterford Road, Manor Park, was charged with four counts of supplying Class A drugs (crack cocaine) and Class B drugs (cannabis) at Bexley Magistrates’ Court last Thursday.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, November 11.

Mr Abudulkadir was one of several individuals arrested in the drug sweep last Wednesday, carried out across several London boroughs including Newham.

The police operation was intended to target Class A drug dealers operating in Greenwich, London and the south of England.

All individuals charged with the supply of drugs appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court last Thursday.

Paige Whybrow, 23, of East Park, Harlow, Essex was charged with four counts of supplying Class A drugs (heroin, crack cocaine) and will appear at Woolwich Crown Court on November 11.

Dennis Savage, 41, of Lamport Close, Greenwich was charged with two counts of supplying Class A drugs (heroin, crack cocaine) and one count of theft and and will appear at Woolwich Crown Court on November 11.

Jordan Smith, 30, of Pettacre Close, Woolwich, was charged with five counts of supplying Class A drugs (cocaine), one count of handling stolen goods and one count of possession of Class B drug (cannabis/cannabis resin).

Smith will appear in custody at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, November 11.

Junior Renford, 22, of Harvey Gardens, Greenwich was charged with four counts of supplying Class A drugs (crack cocaine, heroin), one count of offer to supply Class B drugs (crack cocaine), one count of possession of Class B drugs (cannabis/cannabis resin), one count of intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine), one count of acquire/use/possess criminal property, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and failing to comply with a section 49 notice to disclose the key to protected information.

Renford will appear in custody at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, November 11.

A 15-year-old boy from Lambeth was accused of four counts of supplying Class A drugs (crack cocaine, heroin) and will appear at a youth court in December.

Hia Nguyen, 29, of Erwood Road, Greenwich was charged with four counts of supply of Class A drugs (crack cocaine, heroin) and will appear in custody at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, 11 November.

Liban Dirie, 19, of Walpole Place, Greenwich was charged with one count of supply of Class A drugs (crack cocaine) and will appear in custody at Woolwich Crown Court.

Liban Mohammed, 21, of Milward Walk, Greenwich was charged with two counts of supplying Class A drugs (crack cocaine, heroin) and one count of supplying Class B drugs (crack cocaine), and will appear in custody at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, 11 November.

Mohammed Addoo, 54, of Kingsman Street, Woolwich, was charged with one count of permitting use of premises for supplying Class A drugs (heroin) and one count of permitting use of premises for supplying Class B drugs (crack cocaine).

Addoo will appear in custody at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, November 11.

Ahmed Abdirahman, 30 of Ruthin Road, Westcombe Park, was charged with two counts of conspiring to supply a Class A (crack cocaine, heroin) controlled drug - heroin between March 2 2016 and August 31 2016 - and conspiring to supply a Class A controlled drug (crack cocaine) between the same period.

Abdirahman will appear at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 17.

A further five people who were arrested during the operation were dealt with as follows:

A 20-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug was bailed pending further enquiries.

A 17-year-old boy was accused of possession of a Class A drug. He will appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, October 19.

A 19-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

A 29-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis accepted a police caution.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs has been bailed pending further enquiries.
