A man is set to appear in court today following a stabbing in Forest Gate.
Police were called to Romford Road at 6.30pm on Saturday to reports of a stabbing.
A man in his 30s was found with a wound to his arm. He was taken to hospital where his injuries were thought to be non life-threatening.
Sazzad Khan, 23, of Romford Road was charged on Sunday with grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
He is set to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court today.
