A 20-year-old man has been taken to a major trauma centre after suffering multiple stab wounds in Canning Town.
Emergency services were called to Stephenson Street at around 4.45pm after reports of an assault.
The London Ambulance Service said they sent “a number of resources” to the scene and the man has been taken to hospital as a priority.
No arrests have been made, but police said officers from the Newham Police Gangs Unit are investigating.
