DO you know this man? He’s wanted in connection with attack on a policeman outside a Newham rail station.

The British Transport Police officer was left injured after being struck in the face when trying to quell a group of disorderly men.

The assault happened just after midnight at the Royal Victoria DLR station on July 23 and it left the officer with severe bruising.

Police have released a CCTV image of a suspect they want to identify in connection with an incident.

BTP PC Nick Coombes, investigating, said: “We would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV image.”

He is believed to have a tattoo on his right forearm which reads ‘CALLUM’. He is approximately 25 – 30 years old and is possibly from the Basildon area.
