A man is under sedation in hospital after he fell while getting off a bus and suffered head injuries.
The accident happened this afternoon as the man, who was on crutches, was getting off a bus at Beckton Bus station in East Ham Manor Way and the corner of Tollgate Road.
It happened at around 2.30pm. It is understood the man fell onto the pavement suffered injuries to his head.Paramedics were quickly on the scene and the man was flown to The Royal London Hospital by Air Ambulance.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said his condition was critical.
