A man has been charged with attempting to rob a Forest Gate betting shop.
David Manton, 34 and of no fixed abode, is set to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court this morning.
He is accused of attempting to rob a shop in Woodgrange Road on Tuesday, February 4 and of robbing another bookmakers in Snakes Lane East, Woodford Green, on Saturday, January 23.
