Police have arrested a 35-year-old man this morning in connection with an “axe and knife” incident in Stratford.
The man was arrested in Hackney and has been taken to an east London police station where he remains in custody.
The arrest was made following a road rage incident in West Road on Tuesday in which two men are alleged to have jumped out of their vehicles and waved a knife and axe at one another.
No charges have been brought at this time and enquiries continue.
