A man pulled over by police has been arrested after officers found bags of drugs and money in his uninsured vehicle.
Patrolling officers stopped the car on the A406, near the junction with Romford Road, at around 11.45pm on Wednesday night.
On searching the car, bags of cannabis and wads of cash were found as the 21-year-old driver was also discovered to be driving illegally.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs and for driving without a valid licence or insurance.
The man was taken to an East London police station and bailed to early January next year pending further enquiries, and his car was seized.
