A 20-year-old man has been arrested after a police raid found drugs with a street value of �2,000 at a Beckton property.
A 20-year old man has been arrested following the discovery of drugs with a street value of �2,000 during a raid on a Beckton address this morning.
Beckton Safer Neighbourhoods Police Team and the Territorial Support Group found 203 bags of cannabis and six wraps of class A drugs during the swoop in Manor Way.
Team spokesperson Sgt Sarah Mulligan said: “This was a fantastic result, removing a large amount of drugs from Newham’s streets.”
The suspect, arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs, is being quizzed at an East London police station.
