Blades have been recovered during a week of action targeting knife crime.
Newham conducted 35 activities under Operation Sceptre last week as part of a Met-wide operation focused on arrest warrants and weapons sweeps.
A spokeswoman for the Met said the operation was “focused, not exclusively, but mainly” on young people due to the age group being more likely to carry knives and become involved in gang culture than older people.
There were 61 arrests for youth violence, classed as those under 25, in Newham last month.
