HAMMERS star centre back Manuel da Costa was today charged over a young woman’s claims he sexually assaulted her in a nightclub.
He was charged after attending a police station by appointment. The 24-year-old Portugese defender, who lives in Silvertown, was given police bail until Tuesday when he is due to face magistrates at Redbridge Court.
da Costa is charged with sexual assault and common assault against the 20-year-old woman at Faces nightclub in Ilford on October 17.
