Hairdressing goods worth £30,000 stolen from Custom House car park

Officers are appealing for information after £30,000 worth of hairdressing goods was stolen from a van.
A white Ford Transit was stolen from the car park of a nearby hotel in Dockside Road, Custom House on Monday at about 8.30pm following an exhibition at the ExCel Centre.
The equipment, which belongs to Scissorhands UK Ltd, includes 500 pairs of scissors of various designs, all marked with the company logo, bar stools, display cabinets and 4,000 pieces of hairdressing accessories.
Altogether, the goods were worth approximately £30,000.
Detectives from Newham are investigating the theft and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
