A 20-year-old from Silvertown appears in court today on conspiracy charges of kidnap and blackmail and a charge of false imprisonment.
Marin Majid, from Saville Road near the Royal Docks, was arrested with three others following police raids on flats at the Peabody Estate in Westminster.
Two face the same charges—Drilon Hykaj, 19, from Peppermint Heights in Wembley, and Agon Salihi, 22, from Hide Tower in Westminster.
The fourth, Karen Dumble, from Old Pye Street in Westminster, is charged with conspiracy to kidnap and false imprisonment.
All four are due to appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court. A fifth person has been released with no further action.

The arrests follow an operation by the Met’s Central Operational Command at Scotland Yard.
