Five men arrested for allegedly spying on women at a changing room at East Ham Leisure Centre have had their bail period extended for a second time.
The men were arrested after it is believed they found a way of spying on the women. Police have said they are confident no children were involved. It is believed personal mobiles and computers are being checked as part of the police investigation.
The men were arrested on April 30 for offences relating to Voyeurism under Section 67 of the Sexual Offences Act.
They were originally bailed until the end of June and then re-bailed to return to a police station on August 19. They have now been re-bailed again until September 21 when the Crown Prosecution Service is expected to have decided whether there is enough evidence for a prosecution to be successful.
