Police raided a house in Walpole Road before dawn today after a fire alerted them to the presence of a suspected drug den.
London Fire Brigade were called to a blaze at a building in Walpole Road at around !am, and called the police “to reports of drugs being produced at the location”, a Met spokesman said.
He added: “We attended and discovered a quantity of what’s believed to be cannabis plants. Tests will take place.”
The police spoke to the owner of the property and no arrests been made.
