Eight men from East Ham, Canning Town and Stratford appeared in court on Monday having been charged in connection with a series of thefts from lorries across Kent, Essex and London.

Altogether 11 men were charged with conspiracy to steal from motor vehicles following a series of thefts from lorries between July and October last year. They appeared at Medway Magistrates Court, in Kent, on Monday.

The men include: Daniel Hession, 30, of Denny Close, Ricky Holloway, 22, of Forty Acre Lane, Terence Donnelly, 35, of Birch Close, Dean Kingston, 34, of Ozolins Way, Kane Hill, 23, of Appleby Road, Alfie Turner, 25, of Bond Street, Bradley Wilkins, 34, of Hayday Road and John Jefford, 31, of Glenister Street, who was also charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

In addition, 21-year-old Daisy Hill of Appleby Road, also appeared at the court having been charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

All those charged will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on September 25.
