A teenager playing a game on his iPhone was an easy target for a mugger in Central Park Road, East Ham.
The theft took place at a bus stop at about 10.30am on May 23.
A man leaned over the 18-year-old’s shoulder and grabbed the iPhone. He made off on a bike with the victim in pursuit.
He lost sight of him near The Hammers pub in High Street South.
