Police investigating “inappropriate and offensive comments” made on board a busy Tube have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.
The comments, which are being treated as a hate crime, were made by two men travelling on an eastbound District line train between West Ham and Upton Park.
They were overheard by passengers travelling between 4pm and 4.20pm on Wednesday, September 19.
Officers believe the man in the picture may have information which could help their investigation.
