A POLICE manhunt for a “dangerous” prisoner who had absconded whilst on licence ended with his capture today.

Wayne Lee Harris, 41 was serving an eight year sentence imposed at Snaresbrook Crown Court in December 2007, for offences including false imprisonment and serious violence.

He failed to return to his accredited bail accommodation in Newham on Feb 7 in breach of his licence.

Harris, pictured, is considered dangerous and in a police appeal for information the public were warned not to approach him but to dial Scotland Yard.
