A man has appeared in court following incidents in Custom House and Plaistow including armed robbery and a car chase.
Ricky Morgan, 24, of no fixed abode, stands remanded in custody to Snaresbrook accused of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of a firearm at a time of committing robbery.
He is also accused of possession of a prohibited weapon less than 60cm in length, driving with excess alcohol and robbery.
The charges followed incidents in the Cundy Road and Prince Regent Lane areas on Friday.
A specialist court sitting at Redbridge Magistrates remanded Morgan to August 22.
