Hammers star Manuel da Costa will face a judge over claims he sexually assaulted a woman at a Gants Hill nightspot.
The Portugese centre back, 24, also faces a further allegation of common assault against the 20-year-old victim.
He has yet to enter a plea in respect of either incident, both of which are said to have taken place at Faces nightclub last October 17.
Da Costa, who lives in Silvertown, is on bail from Redbridge magistrates to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on April 18.
