A man and woman have made contact with officers following an appeal relating to a report of inappropriate sexual behaviour on a train through Stratford.
Earlier this week, The British Transport Police released an appeal for the man and woman to come forward, following the incident on a train between London Liverpool Street and Clacton-on-Sea in Essex, on June 7.
The couple are set to be interviewed in due course.
Sergeant Alan King said: “I would like to thank the members of the public who came forward with valuable information. I would also like to thank the media for publicising this appeal.”
