Police have today released shocking CCTV footage that shows a teenager being stabbed in a takeaway shop in Manor Park.
The 18-year-old victim is seen fighting with his two attackers before being knifed three times as he tried to jump over the front counter inside Mahins Pizza Peri Peri Grill in Station Road, in a bid to escape.
He was rushed to hospital and later discharged.
The two suspects are both black teenagers with one wearing a dark blue hooded top over a grey hooded top, and the other was in a dark black padded jacket over a black hooded top and striped tracksuit trousers.
Police are appealing for information to identify the suspects for the attack on October 6 at around 8pm.
Detective Constable Phil Fox, investigating officer, said: “This is an attack on a man who suffered multiple stab wounds from his ordeal.
“We are asking for anyone who recognises these two teenagers to come forward and assist us with our investigation.”
Any witnesses or anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
