Acid attack victim Naomi Oni’s alleged attacker has denied throwing the corrosive liquid that left her face scarred, with intent to maim or cause grievous bodily harm.
Mary Konye, 21, from Throckmorton Road, Canning Town, appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday accused of the attack on Naomi, 21, as she walked along Lodge Avenue, Dagenham, in December last year on her way home from work at Westfield Stratford City.
Student Konye is to stand trial on January 6 and denies throwing a corrosive liquid with intent to maim or cause grievous bodily harm.
