Parts of Stratford have been sealed off after a man was shot in the street this afternoon.
Police were called to Water Lane at around 3pm this afternoon.
It is understood the victim, believed to be inhis twenties was walking along the street at the junction with Manbey Street when he was shot.
He has been taken to an East London Hospital for treatment. Police have taped off the area, and parts of Romford Road have been shut, while investigations are carried out.
