Beckton police stabbings: man due in court

A MAN is due in court today in connection with the stabbing of two police officers in Beckton.
The 28-year-old, from the East Ham area, will appear before Stratford magistrates to answer two charges of causing grievous bodily harm.
The two male officers were injured while attending a disturbance in Routh Street at around 3.20am yesterday.
Both were treated in hospital but have since been discharged.
