Five men have been charged with trespass offences in connection with an unauthorised travellers’ camp at a warehouse.
Patrick Ward, 30, and Dylan McDonagh, 19, both of Hunters Square, Dagenham, and Martin Lawrence, 32, of Homerton Road, Hackney, were charged with trespass causing obstruction or disruption to lawful activity.
Seamus Maughan, 24, also of Hunters Square and Michael Lawrence, 33, of Winsor Terrace, Beckton, were charged with trespass causing obstruction or disruption to lawful activity and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
They are all due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on December 7.
The charges relate to a site in Weston Avenue, Grays, Essex, where around 100 people were moved on from on October 2.
