Angelina Jolie will open a four-day global summit aiming to end sexual violence being used as a weapon in war at ExCel exhibition centre this morning.
The Hollywood actress, who is UN Special Envoy, is co-chairing the End Sexual Violence in Conflict conference with UK Foreign Secretary William Hague.
The event is the biggest gathering of its kind to address sexual abuse and the trafficking of girls and women in war zones.
Representatives from governments and NGOs around the world are set to attend the summit, which runs until Friday.
