A teenager accused of carrying a hunting knife following a stabbing near Westfield Stratford City has appeared in court.
The 17-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Stratford Youth Court on September 4 charged with grevious bodily harm (GBH) with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
He now faces a plea and trial preparation hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court on October 2.
Police were called to a fight near Stratford Station and Westfield on Friday, September 1 at approximately 6.15pm.
An 18-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being stabbed in his abdomen but was later discharged.
