Trial set for Ilford teenager charged with carrying three knives in Newham

A 19-year-old man has appeared in court accused of carrying three machete knives in a public place.

Zuriel Daniel-Laurent of High Road, Ilford, is charged with possession of a blade - namely the three knives - while travelling on a bus in Gladstone Avenue, East Ham, on June 5.

His trial has been set for the week commencing October 23 at Snaresbrook Crown Court. He pleaded not guilty to the charge on August 2.
