A Stratford teenager charged with the murder of Thomas Overton (pictured) in neighbouring Leyton on Sunday, August 19 has been committed to stand trial at the Old Bailey.

The 16-year-old accused was refused bail when he appeared at Stratford Youth Court today, Wednesday.

The victim died of a stab wound to the heart at around 4am during a fight around the Beaumont Road area following a house party.
