Stabbed Plaistow student set to return to India

Indian student Praveen Reddy, seriously injured after a stabbing in Plaistow, has now been released from hospital.
The 26-year-old was discharged yesterday afternoon and is currently staying with family in Hounslow, west London.
His father, Sudhakar Reddy-Jangam, has been at his son’s bedside at The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel since flying over from India on February 12.
Family spokesman Prasad Mantala, from the United Kingdom Telugu Association, said they were now planning to return home to Hydrabad.
The incident, which left Praveen in a critical condition for more than a week, took place in Kent Street on February 10.
Three people have been charged with attempted murder and remanded in custody.
They will re-appear at Inner London Crown Court tomorrow.
