Sex offender jailed for breach

Sex offender Graham Marshall from Forest Gate is back behind bars after breaking a court order just 30 hours after his release from prison
Marshall, 28, of Romford Road, was arrested when he attempted to access a website used by children under 16 years.
That breached the terms of his Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO).
At Snaresbrook Crown Court he was jailed for three years for the breach.
He was arrested on November 19 by officers from Tower Hamlets Police who were monitoring his activity once he arrived in London.
They had obtained a SOPO which prohibited Marshall from certain activities in England and Wales
after his release from prison for a similar offence.
Marshall also had a conviction for sexual assault on children.
Detective Inspector Des McHugh explained all London boroughs have a dedicated unit “committed to the management of registered sex offenders.”
He said of Tower Hamlets police: “The team work behind the scenes to proactively monitor these individuals and focus on those we consider most dangerous.”
