Plaistow man charged with theft after being stopped by police in Basildon

A Plaistow man has been charged with a string of offences after being stopped by police in Basildon.
At around 6.30pm on Thursday Danny Ruel, 27, of Gad Close, Plaistow was stopped by police while driving in Pound Lane, Basildon.
Mr Ruel was subsequently charged with theft, possession of cannabis, driving without insurance and failing to provide a specimen.
He is due to appear before Basildon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 11.
