A man has been stabbed in the face on a Central line train.

He was attacked while sitting on the Tube between Stratford and Mile End stations shortly before 1am on Sunday, September 30.

The victim was treated by London Ambulance paramedics and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Detectives from the British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they think might have information related to the incident.
